Couple of things- I now scan my toolbox after 6-8hr PM and quickly notice if anything is missing. Usually, I’ve just left a 4″ crescent, screwdriver or glass cutter in my shirt pocket- but the tool accountability is there. I won’t be leaving my Milwaukee impact underneath anything, any time soon!
My maintenance manager has been jumping up and down with praise for my work, which I initiated on my own. There’s been a lot of recognition for being the first. There has been, and now there is even more of a contrast in between my coworker’s tools (chunk ‘dat shit in the box) and mine.
I’ll spend some time the last day of my shift cleaning my tools. Ready for the next weekend.
